The Power of a Positive Team:
Hoxie Community Schools
I recently had the privilege of leading a session on The Power of a Positive Team with the entire staff at Hoxie Community Schools. This was so much more than a keynote—it was a dynamic catalyst for real connection.
We skipped the usual teamwork clichés and jumped straight into deep, honest conversations about trust, shared purpose, and what it really means to show up for each other every day. The energy in the room was incredible. Across every level of the organization, people leaned in, shared vulnerably, laughed together, and challenged themselves to think differently about how they collaborate.
I left Hoxie feeling deeply honored to play a small part in their journey. Their commitment to building a culture of excellence is a beautiful blueprint for what is possible when a team chooses to be intentional, united, and positive.
Personality Styles & Productivity: Kansas Electric Cooperatives
I had the wonderful opportunity to present a powerful workshop for HR professionals at the Kansas Electric Cooperative, focusing on the intersection of personality styles and daily productivity.
HR professionals do incredibly demanding, essential work every single day, so it felt amazing to pour back into them. Together, we explored how understanding different communication and behavioral styles can unlock smoother workflows, reduce friction, and maximize team efficiency. The energy in the room was fantastic, and as a special thank you for their dedication, everyone left the session with a copy of my book, Not Now!
It was a true privilege to support this group. Helping the people who support everyone else is exactly why I do this work, and I left feeling incredibly inspired by their commitment to their teams.
